Can you put flavoring in lip balm?
If you want your lip balms to taste, you’ll want to use this sweetener or all-natural stevia (trickier to use but all natural). Warning: Never use a flavoring oil (or essential oil) that is a photosensitizer (a substance that is sensitive to the influence sunlight).

If you want to try an alternative method for sweetening your lip products you could try using stevia or sugar. The best way to add it is to sprinkle the stevia in the warm balm and stir until the mixture is around 130F. Because stevia doesn’t dissolve, the mixture would need to be thick enough to suspend it evenly.
